I grew up in Mexico until high school, where my first major pursuit was professional cycling. Competing at a high level taught me the importance of discipline, honest measurement, continuous improvement, and performing under pressure. I continue to race in Austin criteriums, and this competitive mindset informs my leadership approach.
After cycling, I applied that drive to design, earning a bachelor’s degree in design and an MBA. This combination of craft and business defines my approach: I translate business goals into clear experience strategies, align leadership priorities, and collaborate with executives, marketing, product, and engineering to achieve measurable results.
I am a global experience design leader with over 15 years of experience building and scaling multidisciplinary teams for enterprise and consumer products. I focus on developing talent and creating high-performing teams grounded in craft, clarity, and accountability. I also advance design maturity through design systems and operating model transformation, strengthening ownership, resourcing, governance, and consistent practices at scale.
Outside of work, I am an avid reader and lifelong learner. I have traveled to every continent except one and have lived in several countries. I continue to challenge myself creatively by learning piano and studying Portuguese and Italian.
